PERSONAL-USE LICENSE & PRIVACY POLICY

1. YOUR LEGACY SONG

Each commissioned Legacy Song is a one-of-one keepsake crafted from your story for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You receive a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to listen to, share privately with family and friends, and play your song at personal gatherings (weddings, memorials, birthdays, family events).

2. WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED

The master recording, composition, and underlying rights remain owned by Arkitekt / Spirit Nation Records. Personal use does not include: commercial release, streaming distribution (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube monetization, etc.), synchronization in paid media, resale, remixing for profit, or use in advertising or branded content without a separate written license.

3. CERTIFICATE OF OWNERSHIP

Your Certificate confirms that your song is a unique, dedicated work created exclusively for you. It is a keepsake of authenticity, not a transfer of master rights or publishing.

4. FREE GIFTS

The personalized letter and free song are gifts for personal encouragement. Please don't republish, sell, or use them commercially.

5. REFUNDS

Because each Legacy Song is custom-crafted from your testimony, commissions are non-refundable once production has begun. If you have concerns, reach out tocontact@thearkitekt.coand we'll make it right.

7. DIGITAL TRACK PURCHASES

All $3.99 digital track purchases are final. Due to the instant-delivery nature of digital downloads, there are no refunds, exchanges, or returnsonce a track has been purchased.

We respect your privacy. Here's exactly what we collect and why.

WHAT WE COLLECT

Information you give us: your name, email address, and any note or story you submit through our forms (waitlist, free gift, fan wall, or a Legacy Song commission). If you choose to contact us, we keep that correspondence. Information collected automatically: basic, non-identifying visit data such as page views, approximate region, and device type, used only to understand which music and pages people care about.

HOW WE USE IT

To deliver what you asked for (your free gift, your download, your certificate, your Legacy Song), to send updates about new releases and Arkitekt news if you opted in, and to improve the site. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information — ever.

PAYMENTS

Purchases are processed by Stripe. Your full card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We retain only the order record (what was bought, when, and the email used for delivery).

SERVICE PROVIDERS

We use trusted third parties strictly to operate the site — payment processing, email delivery, hosting and database, and our chat widget. They may only process your information on our behalf.

EMAILS & OPTING OUT

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out anytime at /unsubscribe. Transactional messages (order confirmations, download links, certificates) are sent regardless, because they're part of what you purchased or requested.

COOKIES

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep the site working — remembering your cart and your session. No third-party advertising trackers.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Emailcontact@thearkitekt.co and we'll take care of it. We keep information only as long as needed to deliver your orders and meet record-keeping obligations.

CHILDREN

This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we'll remove it.

SECURITY & CHANGES

We protect your information with encryption in transit and restricted database access. No system is perfect, so we ask that you also protect your own account and download links. If we update this policy, we'll revise the date below.
